- April’s Maternity session at 36 weeks | Bunbury Southwest Maternity Photographer March 7, 2017
A sunset maternity photo session ~ April 36 weeks
So honoured to be asked to capture another baby for this gorgeous family.
April and Indigo (3), who was captured as a newborn and again as a 1 year old covered in paint, joined Mum for this sunset pregnancy photo session.
I just could not upload any black and white images from this session because the light was amazing. This spot is a special place for April who also had some wedding photos taken at the exact spot.
Wait to you meet the new addition in the next blog.
So many beautiful shots to share.

Sarah and Jarrid Pregnancy Photo session
Sarah and Jarrid are celebrating the pregnancy for their third baby and are excited that a little boy will be soon joining big Sister’s Imogene and Savannah.
We ventured down to the Dalyellup beach to capture their Summer pregnancy at sunset. All that needed to be done was to avoid 4WDs and flies. We did both amazingly well.
Sarah used one of Maternal Moments Photography’s newly added maternity gowns for the session which fit her perfectly and showed off her gorgeous, pregnant belly.
We captured the girls early and then took Sarah and Jarrid for a little photo session of just them.
Thanks for sharing another pregnancy with me guys and enjoy.
- Patrick on day 12 | Bunbury Southwest Newborn Baby Photographer January 21, 2017
Carly contacted me after baby Patrick was born as he surprised her and her Hubby, Dale, by arriving 6 weeks early. Thinking she had plenty of time to plan and book her newborn session Patrick had other ideas and wanted to arrive earthside before Christmas.
He was born at Bunbury Hospital and was strong enough to get the all clear and leave hospital with his Mum and Dad to attend his newborn photo session on day 12. Which given his early arrival is amazing.
Mum is a Vet and definitely wanted a fluffy pet Owl named “Orlando” to be featured in a pose during his session as well as a white bunny who measured the exact same length as Patrick when born.
As always I love to please my clients and come up with the perfect set up or pose to allow an amazing keepsake for Patrick’s parents.
He was amazing during his session and I did not see the colour of his eyes throughout the whole session which included two costume changes.

Baby Milla on day 9
It was so great to be able to once again capture the Tweedie family and their new baby. My last capture was Mr Nash for his newborn session and then again to celebrate his first Birthday with a cake smash in the studio. He was a riot.
And, of course not to disappoint, he was a riot for his Sister’s newborn session also. He moved so quick it took two pairs of hands and Rae’s most annoying noises to capture his smile and to retain those gorgeous blue eyes.
Baby Milla was sweet and sleepy and then gave us her amazing eyes for the end of the session but still was so calm and beautiful for the shots. Her head turning straight for that big light and of course the camera lens was gorgeous to capture.
Arriving two weeks over due and pushing so close to Christmas, Milla was definitely worth the wait.
- Ella 6 months | Bunbury Southwest Family Photographer December 2, 2016
It was great to see the Jones family again after capturing Ella as a newborn in Maternal Moments studio. 6 months have passed and she is one happy bubba.
The family chose a sunset session to capture Ella at 6 months of age and it was a great opportunity to capture big Sister Katie again too.
There was plenty of dandelions and sunshine to make this session full of entertainment for the girls and they did so well.
I cannot wait for Ella’s first birthday photo session which I know will be here in no time.
