  • Molly Mae at 13 days | Bunbury SouthWest Newborn Photographer October 10, 2013

Molly Mae was welcomed into the world 2 weeks earlier than expected, which gave Mum and Dad an early surprise.  She weighed a tiny 2.35kg and as you will see from the shot in Dad’s hands is still so tiny.

When the shoot was brought forward I realised I was capturing little Molly 5 days before her actual due date.  What a little trooper she was, she fed, slept and allowed us to settle her into some beautiful poses.

She is amazing, her Mum looks amazing and Dad is taking it all in his stride.

  • Taylor at 10 days new | Bunbury South West Newborn Photographer October 6, 2013

Taylor Jason Hughes is the third child to Nicole and Jason, but the first boy in the family.  So Dad has finally got an ally.

His Sister’s Chloe (5) and Erin (3) have a lot of energy and stuck the session out with the help of a fully equippped girly playroom.  Taylor preferred his little legs positioned to the side of him rather than tucked underneath him, so he was definitely the boss for most of the poses.  He had the most dreamy long lashes though, which could melt any heart.

Congrats to Nicole and Jason on expanding your family.

  • Sasha @ 17 days new | Bunbury Newborn Photographer October 2, 2013

Well Sasha’s Mum rang me when Sasha was already 2 weeks old to see if she could come for newborn photos.  I will admit it, I was a little paniced about the first 14 days already passing but Mum reassured me how laid back Sasha was.  I was also asked to capture big Sis Amba (3) which of course I love these shots so happily obliged.  So Sasha came to me at 17 days.

Well the panic was all for nothing.  Sasha was amazing and big Sis Amba stuck the whole session out due to a holidaying babysitter, but she was amazing and was so good when it came to her pics with little Sis and her Dad.

Both Sasha and Amba have inherited amazing little lips and I can see Dad is going to have a great time when they grow up!

    Congratulations Sam and Nathan!

  • Jo & Mic – Pregnancy 36 weeks September 16, 2013

Well as the weather is warming up (well supposedly) and the clouds part I love heading outdoors.  So this has to be one of my all time favourite maternity sessions I have done this year.

There was already a cancelled session between us due to the wet weather but Jo and I rescheduled and both had a great feeling about the evening we had set.

We picked the one night between a lot of terrible nights that gave us this magical light and allowed us to capture this exciting time for Mic and Jo who are due for their first baby.

Jo wanted a magical theme to the session and I had just the location for her.  What made it even more amazing was the river’s high tide which gave us even more golden light due to the reflections.  I have never seen the water that high but it engulfed the swamp for us and gave an even more magical backdrop.

There is a ridiculous high number of amazing shots but I have just chosen a few of Jo and Mic’s favourites, as well as my own.

Cannot wait to meet the new arrival in early October.

  • Hudson @ 10 days September 13, 2013

Rebecca and Tory welcomed a healthy 9 pound 4 ounce baby boy, Hudson William, into the world on 23rd August.

As the photos tell us, Rebecca looks amazing and both suit parenthood very well.  We had a great session and Hudson allowed us to capture him beautifully in Mum and Dad’s arms.

Congrats guys on a gorgeous boy!
