  • Taj at 18 months – Beach Family Session | Bunbury South West Family Photographer January 13, 2014

Sarah contacted me to capture her little man, Taj, in a beach session to capture him at 18 months.

Well I thought what a better way to evoke a little bit of curiosity from Taj than to bring a few beachy props.  He loved getting sandy and discovering and collecting shells on the beach with his Mum.  I think he wondered why there was a person with a big black camera hanging around, but we captured some great little moments.

Of course during the session, as you may or may not know I love capturing sunsets, so of course this was a must with Mum and Taj in the shot.

    Enjoy.

  • Tiernan at 10 days | Bunbury South West Newborn Photographer January 1, 2014

Tiernan was an amazing little man for his newborn photo session.  I did not see his little eyes until the end of the session.

He had the most amazing skin which made my job of editing his shots so easy.  His Mum and Dad are both from Ireland and I am sure his grandparents, who were visiting over Christmas, were besotted with him and wanted to pack him in their bags to return home with them.

Congrats guys on your new family.  He is beautiful.

  • Lacey Rae at 8 days | Bunbury Newborn Photographer December 21, 2013

Introducing Lacey Rae at 8 days.

What a head of hair this little girl has got.  I did not want to hide it under any bonnets as it was so thick and beautiful.  Loved her blonde eyebrows too!

Lacey was a light sleeper but we got her settled and captured some great shots for Mum and Dad.  Her newborn session was loaded with pink, including hot pink, which fit perfectly for the blanket Taliah’s Nanna had knitted.  I love including family gifts and heirlooms as it makes it so much more special when there is a story to tell for the picture.

This Christmas is definitely going to be a hit with Lacey around to keep everyone in line.

    Congrats guys.

    Enjoy.

  • Taliah and Josh – Maternity at 35 weeks | Bunbury Southwest Maternity Photographer December 21, 2013

Taliah and Josh came into the studio to capture their sweet bump before the arrival of their baby girl in November.

Taliah is a swimming teacher so I am not sure if that contributes to her looking so amazing during her pregnancy and, as you will see soon, even after birth.

Knowing that it was a little girl we had some fun with soft pink.

Stay tuned for the newborn session for Lacey Rae.

    Enjoy.

  • Emily @ 5 weeks | Bunbury Southwest Newborn Photographer December 18, 2013

Emily Marie was born 4 weeks early and became a very early Christmas pressie for her Mum and Dad.  When she came into the studio for her shoot she should have just been a week old which puts it into perspective of how early she came.

Even being 5 weeks she still was as tiny and quiet as a newborn which made her shoot a little easier and allowed us to still get those sleepy shots.  So she was an angel in my eyes!!

Mum was all for the girly things like headbands, the colour pink and crowns which of course I love.  We had a great time.

Congrats guys on your little girl.

    Enjoy!
