  • Bunbury Southwest Newborn Photographer | Caspian on day 11 October 27, 2017

Beautifully named after Prince Caspian from the Chronicles of Narnia, Caspian was a sleeping beauty for his session.  He loved to be in a snuggled, secure pose so he was a perfect little model.

When welcoming newborns into your studio you never know what is going to be in store.  Whether you have a windy baby or a baby not feeding as well as they should.  The baby is always the boss in my books, so adapting to the baby’s needs and its preferences (may it be poses on its belly or turning their head to the right) always ensures you are able to capture the best images and most importantly lets your clients (parents and baby) leaving feeling satisfied and calm.

So capturing a baby like Caspian is always an amazing feeling.  He transferred from one pose to another without fuss or complaint.  Mum and Dad were blessed with a relaxed newborn photo session and I was blessed with an easy photo session.

Thank you guys for allowing me to capture your first born.

  • Bunbury Southwest Newborn photographer | Cleo on day 7 October 27, 2017

Having photographed Roman for his newborn photos I was excited to hear from Paula and Dave announcing they were pregnant with their second.

Teeny, tiny Cleo was photographed on day 7 and slept the whole time.  Big Brother Roman was a great sport and gave Mum the best little smiles for his sibling shots.

Cleo even rewarded us with a beautiful smile which kicked off the good vibes that lasted throughout the time we spent together.

Congratulations guys on your beautiful family.

  • Bunbury Southwest Newborn Photographer | Casey Elizabeth on day 9 August 18, 2017

Casey on day 9; newborn photo session

This little tie breaker arrived early for her family and what a welcomed surprise…. girls win!

I visited Casey’s farm to do her in-home newborn session so Mum could relax with Lyla and Taj and not have to travel to Bunbury (which is offered to all repeat clients with toddlers).

She was cool as a cucumber and an absolute angel.

Of course we had to commemorate the fact that the girls now rule the roost with a photo of Lyla and her new little Sister.

    Congratulations Sarah and Wes.

  • Bunbury Southwest Maternity Photographer | Sarah & Wes; dairy farm maternity/family session August 17, 2017

A Southwest dairy farm maternity photo session

I have been capturing Sarah since she moved to WA with her little man Taj a few years ago.

Since that time I have been privileged to capture Sarah and Wes’s baby girl Lyla and now her third bub … the families TIE BREAKER!!

Since visiting the family once before on their dairy farm I was adamant that Sarah share her baby belly with me at that magical place called home.

We started the session, of course, with the members of the dairy family as well as Sarah, Lyla and Taj.  We then headed down to the dairy so Wes would not miss out of some family photos.  We could not leave him out of it!!

So then we were provided with an amazing Winter’s evening at the family diary farm which provided us with cows, cow paddies, electric fences (to roll under as I am too short to step over) and of course hay bales.

Love seeing this family again and wait until you meet the ‘tie breaker’ in the next blog.
