As a Mother of two daughters I myself have consistently recorded their development and their changing beauty and I feel you cannot put a price on these memories. My love therefore grew for photography and my greatest love was newborn photography.
After making some major life decisions and experiencing a few bumpy roads, I strived to make a life for myself and my daughters by investing in my love and passion for photography. I therefore ensured I was educated and able to learn from the best to provide other families with these memories also.
I have trained with some of Australia’s best family and newborn photographers including Barbara Uil (JinkyArt), Kelly Brown (Little Pieces Newborn Photography), Luisa Dunn (Luisa Dunn Photography) and Elise Gow (Elise Gow Photography). I have also been mentored by international newborn photographers and been awarded in the family category with the WA Australian Institute of Professional Photographers (Accredited member 2015).
When my children were baby’s the art of newborn photography was a far cry from what it is today. I feel that you can’t just be a photographer to master the art of working with children and more importantly fragile newborns. I believe being a Mother myself together with the training I have been given provides me with the confidence and knowledge to ensure your baby’s safety is pivotal throughout your photo session.
I look forward to discussing your families photo session soon.
